PE Teacher to join the
PE department of a secondary school in
Westminster. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and motivate girls across Key Stages 3 and 4 – and potentially Key Stage 5 – through engaging and inclusive physical education.
This position is ideal for a confident and enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about promoting health, fitness, and participation among female students in a supportive and well-resourced setting.
Position Details: - Start Date: September 2025
- Interview Date: Immediate
- Salary: M1 – UPS3 (dependent on experience)
The Role: - Teach PE to girls across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of KS5 depending on experience
- Deliver energetic, inclusive lessons that develop physical confidence and enjoyment of sport
- Support the school’s extra-curricular girls’ sports programme, including clubs, fixtures, and competitions
- Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and resilience through engaging practical and theory-based lessons
- Work collaboratively within the PE department to plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum
- Contribute to whole-school sporting events and enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A specialism or strong experience in girls’ physical education
- Excellent behaviour management, motivational skills, and classroom presence
- Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting (GCSE PE desirable)
- The ability to lead or support extra-curricular clubs and girls’ competitive sports teams
