Assessment and Child Protection (CP)
Rate: up to £38 per hour
 
We are recruiting for motivated qualified social worker to join our busy team. This role is with one of the UK’s highest performing local authorities, serving as one of the best places to live and work in.
 
We now have opportunities to join our Assessment and Child Protection Service (ACP).
 
The ACP team undertake assessments and investigations of any issues relating to child protection. The service is provided by Experienced Social Workers, who carry out statutory assessments involving home visits, consulting with other professionals / practitioners and agencies, gathering information for the assessment and analysing the potential risk to any child or young person.
After the completion of the assessment, the case is either closed or held to the point of transfer to the Long Term Locality Teams.
