Rate: up to £450 per day
 
We are recruiting for motivated qualified social worker to join our busy team. This role is with one of the UK’s highest performing local authorities, serving as one of the best places to live and work in.
 
This is a qualified role requiring you to be SWE registered and have relevant experience within Fostering services.
 
Key focus: The Service Manager for Fostering is responsible for:
- 2 teams (managers)
- Supervisory of the Fostering Panel
- Management and support of Carers (including out of hours Carers)
- Care proceedings
- Reporting on performance management.
 
Working Model:
- Hybrid model
- Flexible approach involving working from our town hall campus/hubs.
- Expectation to work from our town hall campus during your teams duty week, for team meetings and other development days and at managers discretion some ad-hoc days onsite may be needed.
- Encouraging face to face working for teams as we know how important this is for social workers and all meetings with children and family take place face to face.
