SEN Teaching Assistant – Newham Are you looking for a new position as a SEN Teaching Assistant in Newham. If so, this may be the perfect position for you. Pertemps Education is working alongside a 3-form entry primary school who are seeking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support students of primary age.
This will be a full-time, long-term position starting immediately till the end of the academic year. There will be an opportunity to go permanent upon review. The daily rate will be between £100 to £110 depending on your experience.

Key responsibilities:- Able to work across KS1 in both Year 1 and Year 2
- Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Assisting students with Autism and/or additional learning needs
- Working with other support staff to engage pupils in class and minimise disruption
- Providing feedback to teachers and parents
The ideal candidate:- Can work full-time, 5 days a week during term time
- Can work from 08:30 AM to 03:30 PM
- Have experience working with students with a range of SEN
- Be enthusiastic and passionate about helping children reach their full potential
- Comfortable working as part of a team and can form relationships
