  • Salary: £175 – £250 per day (depending on experience)
 
The Role
We are looking for a passionate English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Dudley from September 2025. This full-time, long-term supply position will involve teaching English across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to deliver creative and inspiring lessons that engage students and raise attainment. You will be expected to plan and mark work, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and contribute to the wider success of the department.
 
The Candidate
This role is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers. You will hold QTS (or be on track to achieve it), with a specialism in English. Strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to foster a love of literature and language are essential. A proactive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues will make you stand out.
