Supply Teacher – Secondary (Dudley)

• Position: Supply Teacher (QTS)
• Location: Secondary Schools across Dudley
• Start: Immediate / Ongoing
• Pay: £175 – £195 per day
• Contract: Flexible day-to-day cover (no planning or marking)
• Subjects: Mixed cover across departments

 
The Role
You’ll provide short-term classroom cover across a variety of subjects, ensuring learning continues in the absence of the class teacher. Each day is different, giving you broad exposure to school environments while removing the pressure of planning, marking, or data responsibilities. Perfect for teachers wanting work–life balance, newly qualified teachers building experience, or experienced staff returning to the classroom.
 
The Candidate
You will:

• Hold QTS and have experience teaching in UK secondary settings
• Be confident managing behaviour and delivering set work to mixed-ability groups
• Adapt quickly to different subjects, routines, and school cultures
• Bring a positive, reliable, and professional approach to each placement
• Enjoy the freedom and variety of supply teaching

 
The Schools
You’ll work across a network of supportive Dudley secondary schools with strong behaviour systems and established cover procedures. Schools value dependable supply staff who can maintain continuity for learners and uphold the school’s standards.
