The Role
A thriving secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a committed Business Studies Teacher to join them on a long-term basis from January 2026. You’ll deliver Edexcel GCSE Business at KS4 and BTEC Business at KS5, supporting learners with both exam preparation and coursework-based units.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys bringing real-world business concepts into the classroom and can confidently guide students through topics such as marketing, finance, enterprise, and organisational structures. The department is supportive, well-resourced, and offers a collaborative working environment.
 
The Candidate
We’re looking for a Business specialist who can motivate students and deliver structured, engaging lessons. You should be:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs are welcome)
• Confident teaching GCSE Edexcel Business and BTEC Business
• Skilled in supporting both exam and coursework units
• Strong in classroom management and able to build positive rapport with learners
• Organised, enthusiastic, and committed to raising student achievement
