The Role
A well-regarded secondary school in Sandwell is seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their department from January 2026 on a long-term supply basis. The role involves teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that support strong progress and positive learning outcomes.
You will take responsibility for planning and delivering lessons, assessing pupil progress, and maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement. This position is well suited to both experienced teachers and ECTs looking for a consistent long-term role within a supportive department.
 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
  • Hold QTS (or be an ECT)
  • Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
  • Demonstrate confident classroom and behaviour management
  • Be organised, proactive, and adaptable
  • Show a commitment to high standards and pupil progress
