The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Sandwell is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic French & Spanish Teacher to join their Modern Foreign Languages department immediately on a long-term supply basis.
The role involves teaching French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that build students’ confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. You will support pupils in preparing for GCSE Modern Languages, encouraging strong progress and cultural awareness.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining a structured and positive classroom environment with clear expectations for behaviour and achievement.
 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
  • Hold QTS or be an ECT
    • Have experience teaching French and Spanish at KS3 and KS4
    • Be confident delivering GCSE MFL content
    • Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
    • Be committed to supporting pupil progress and engagement
