Contract role
Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in a Front Door team in Southwark.
As a Social Worker within the Safeguarding Front Door (Contact) Team, you will be the first point of professional contact for adults at risk of abuse or neglect. You will play a pivotal role in screening, triaging, and risk-assessing safeguarding concerns in line with the Care Act 2014 and Southwark’s Multi-Agency Safeguarding Procedures. You will work collaboratively across agencies, making informed decisions based on presenting risks, mental capacity, and available evidence to determine whether a Section 42 Safeguarding Enquiry is required. You will ensure timely, person-centred, and legally compliant responses to safeguarding referrals.
