Qualified Social Worker, Locality East Team, Leicestershire County Council 
Pay rate £34 per hour  
Contract role, Locality Team
 
Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Children’s Social Worker in Leicestershire County Council 
This is to work in a Locality East Team.
 
As part of the hybrid working, they will be expected to come into the office at least once a week, do home visits within Leicester as and when required, provide shadowing opportunities to colleagues and attend team meetings and supervisions. 
Supporting People who draw on support, their families, and informal carers.

• Work is completed in accordance with the practice framework, and all local policy, procedure, and guidelines.
• The views of people drawing on support, their families, and informal carers are prioritised and placed at the centre of all assessments and there is clarity in any risks identified and what will be required to reduce these.

 
Interventions are well planned:

• and are appropriate to the needs of the person drawing on support, their family and informal carers.
• Are responsive to their cultural, racial, religious, and linguistic background.
• Support the emotional, social, and physical wellbeing of the person drawing on support. Followed up, monitored and reviewed in a timely way.
• Changes in circumstances are quickly identified and where there is an increase in risk, promptly escalated in line with service process and procedure.
• Effective and positive working relationships are established and maintained with partner organisations.
