Job Advert: Grass Cutter
Location: Neath
Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 7.5 hours per day, with potential for night/weekend work based on operational needs)
Start Date: 04/08/2025
Duration: 9 weeks (until end of September, with potential extension based on operational requirements)
Pay Rate: £12.45/hour (PAYE) or £15.79/hour (Umbrella)

Network Recruitment Wales is seeking 10 Grass Cutters to join the South Wales Trunk Road Agency team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to maintaining the high-speed road network in a safe and professional environment.

What You’ll Do:
  • Perform labouring tasks, primarily grass cutting, within protected (traffic-managed) sites on the high-speed road network.
  • Operate equipment safely, with full training provided by the employer.
  • Adhere to appropriate behaviours and safety protocols in protected sites.
  • Work standard hours (7.5 hours/day, Monday–Friday), with potential for additional night or weekend shifts depending on operational needs and your skills/experience.
What We’re Looking For:
  • No prior experience required – full training will be provided!
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and work within a team.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours (nights/weekends) if needed.
