Salary: PAYE: £15.31 per hour | Umbrella: £19.51 per hour

Are you organised and customer-focused with a passion for community services? NRW People is excited to offer three rewarding temporary Garden Waste and Business Support Officer roles with Monmouthshire County Council, based at Raglan Depot. Starting 10 November 2025, this 12-week position covers long-term sickness cover, offering a chance to enhance waste services and support a vibrant team.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage garden waste administration, including applications, bag/permit reissues, and customer queries, while improving processes for a seamless user experience.
• Provide top-notch business support, handling payroll, training records, budget monitoring, and GIS mapping for Waste & Street Services.
• Ensure accurate website updates, social media management, and customer service, working 37 hours weekly with a focus on timely, professional delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

• A proactive individual with administrative skills and a commitment to customer care (training provided if needed).
• Ability to work full-time (37 hours) and adapt to a varied role supporting frontline services.
• Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to Raglan

Essential Requirements:

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• 2 years of references/work history (to be submitted with application).
• Signed Confidentiality Agreement (required upon offer acceptance).
• Criminal Convictions Declaration (required upon offer acceptance).
