Requirements:
The successful candidate for this Geography ECT role will have…

• At least a bachelor’s degree in geography, or a related field.
• Completed, or completing, a PGCE with QTS before Sept 2024.
• A passion for the field of geography and a drive to instil this into KS3 and KS4 students.
• Dedication to the safety and wellbeing of students aged 11-16.
• Enthusiasm surrounding participation in activities with the wider school community.

 
The Role
In order to be successful in this Geography ECT role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging geography lessons that adhere to the GCSE national curriculum. You will monitor the progress of your students to identify any additional needs and adapt learning materials to accommodate these. As you progress through your induction, it is essential that you build strong bonds with students and staff and participate in activities with the wider school community in order to create and maintain a positive learning environment.
