***Delivering the English national curriculum to KS3 and KS4 students.
 
Requirements:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in English language, literature, or a related subject.  
• Completed- or completing- a PGCSE with qualified teacher status (QTS).
• A passion for the field of English and a desire to instil this into students.
• A warm and friendly personality.
• Motivated and enthusiastic about education.

The Role
As an English ECT, you will be undertaking your induction under the support of a talented and knowledgeable senior leadership team and staff body. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for the planning and delivering of lessons that adhere to the GCSE national curriculum. You will monitor student progress and adapt learning materials to suit the individual needs of every student. You will provide constructive feedback to each pupil to ensure consistent progression and improvement and actively partake in staff meetings and parents’ evenings. It is essential that you build strong bonds with students and staff to ensure a positive learning environment.
