Requirements:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in psychology, or a related subject.
• Passion for the education and wellbeing of young learners with special educational needs.
• A drive to provide high-quality lessons to under-achieving pupils to ensure they fulfil their maximum potential.
• Previous experience of working with children, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.

 
The Role
As a KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working in close collaboration with experienced teaching staff to assist in planning and delivering stimulating and engaging lessons to pupils that encourage their growth and development. You will be aiding in monitoring student progress to identify any additional support needs that can be accommodated by adaptations to learning materials. It is essential that you build strong bonds with children in this KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant role in order to provide the best 1:1 support possible and maintain a positive learning environment.
