***Teaching the science GCSE curriculum to KS3 and KS4 students as they approach their GCSEs

The ECT:

• Completed- or completing- a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• At least a bachelor’s degree in a science, or a related field.
• A genuine passion for the education of young learners.
• Ability to build bonds with primary-aged children.
• Understanding of the importance of safeguarding procedures.

 
The Role
In your Science ECT role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering stimulating lessons that adhere to the science GCSE national curriculum. You will monitor and assess student progress to identify any additional support needs and will provide constructive feedback. It is essential that you build strong bonds with students to ensure a positive learning environment and provide the best level of support.
