Part-Time SEN Nursery / EYFS Teacher (QTS) – Monday to Wednesday
Location: Gateshead
Hours: Monday–Wednesday, 8:30am–3:30pm
Job Type: Part-time / Ongoing
Salary: £130-£170, dependent on experience

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Nursery / EYFS Teacher to join a supportive early years setting on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework, supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver creative, inclusive EYFS lessons
  • Support children with additional needs in accordance with individual learning plans and EHCPs
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and external agencies
  • Ensure a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding standards
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Experience working within EYFS and/or with SEN pupils
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and inclusive teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Warm, caring, and patient approach
