Job Details:

• Position: Assistant Solicitor
• Location: Carmarthenshire
• Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30)
• Contract: Fixed-term, 11/08/2025 – 09/11/2025
• Salary: £110.00 – £144.77 per hour
• Team: Social Care and Education Team
• Reporting to: Senior Solicitor

About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact within a supportive and professional environment. As an Assistant Solicitor, you will focus on providing expert legal advice and support in adult social care and education law. You will work closely with a collaborative team, reporting directly to the Senior Solicitor, and play a key role in delivering high-quality legal services.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice on adult social care and education law matters
• Draft and review legal documents with precision and care
• Represent the organisation in legal proceedings where required
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
• Stay updated on relevant legislation and case law to provide informed advice

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate
• Knowledge and experience in adult social care and/or education law
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A DBS check will be required for this role
