Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 15:15 – 17:00
• Friday: 14:45 – 16:30
  Salary:
• PAYE: £12.65 per hour
• Umbrella: £16.55 per hour
  
  

Are you a reliable and hardworking Cleaner looking for a part-time role within a school environment? We are currently recruiting a School Cleaner on behalf of Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council to provide short-term maternity leave cover.

What You’ll Do:

• Carry out general cleaning duties across the school building, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas in line with health and safety standards.
• Safely use and store cleaning equipment and materials.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional working environment at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in cleaning (school or commercial environments desirable but not essential).
• Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and materials.
• A clean and tidy appearance and a strong work ethic.
• Basic experience operating cleaning equipment (training can be provided).
• Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.

Essential Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS check (required before starting) - must subscribe to the DBS update service.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• CV and photo ID.
• 2 years of references/work history.
• Availability to work only during the advertised hours.
