Job Description

This innovative and boutique private equity firm in Mayfair is looking for a new operations team member to join their growing team, due to internal promotion.  You will have oversight of their stunning front of house and meeting rooms and your role will be varied and interesting where no two days will be the same. You will also get lots of ad hoc projects to support the team with so you will have a lot of involvement.
 
As the first point of contact with all clients you will need to be someone who has great energy, always ready with a smile and be naturally organised and someone who can think ahead but also able to be reactive if things change last minute. This is a dynamic and friendly environment and a super-friendly team who will involve you in everything so you will learn about the business and progress as you build on your skills base.
 
Day to day you will manage all their meeting rooms, order snacks/stationery and liaise with all the visitors to the office.  Deal with the wider team and any new starters you will also be responsible for helping organise events and shopping for the office. You won’t be desk bound so you will interact with the team and even help the EA’s so you will learn great admin skills.
 
Key responsibilities
  • Managing the front of house area and meeting rooms
  • Ensuring there is catering for visitors/events and in-house meetings
  • Be the interface between the founders and the operations team
  • Liaise with new starters and be the go-to person to show them the office
  • Provide team support to the EAs as required
 
Characteristics
  • Up to six months experience (or a bright recent business admin graduate)
  • Someone who enjoys working in a small team where you see people every day.
  • Someone self-confident, energetic and friendly
  • A self-starter who doesn’t need to be micro-managed
  • Organised and inquisitive with a desire to learn and build your skills
  • Happy to be in the office five days a week
  • Flexible attitude – happy to muck in
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • A keen desire to learn and develop your skills
  • Attention to detail and the desire to excel in your role
 
Salary
To £29,000
Discretionary Annual Bonus of 20%
