Community Support Worker – Rapid Response (Full Training)
Are you looking for local, stable care work with guaranteed hours, full training and the opportunity to help people regain their independence?
This is an excellent opportunity to join our Rapid Response Reablement Team, supporting people in their own homes following hospital discharge or a sudden change in their circumstances.
In this role, you will provide short-term care and support to help people get back on their feet. This could include assisting with personal care, preparing meals or helping someone rebuild the confidence to manage everyday tasks independently.
You will receive full training and ongoing support from our office team and dedicated Care Coordinator. Previous care experience is beneficial, but not essential for someone with a caring approach and a willingness to learn.
Morning shifts run from 07:00–14:00 and evening shifts from 16:00–22:00, with full-time, part-time and bank options available. You will be paid from the start to the finish of your shift, including travel time between calls, with no unpaid gaps.
This role would suit an experienced Care or Support Worker looking for a position focused on helping people regain independence, or someone looking for full training to start a career in community care.
The Role:
- £13.60 p/h weekdays / £15.10 p/h weekends + 45p per mile
- Block pay – paid from start to finish of your shift, including travel time
- Full-time, Part-time & Bank hours available
- Guaranteed-hours contracts available – up to 40 hours per week
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle essential
