🔍 About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, collaborative team that focuses on early intervention, strong multi-agency partnerships, and timely, child-centred support.
You’ll play a key role in safeguarding children and delivering clear, strengths-based assessments that lead to sustainable outcomes. You’ll work directly with families, as well as with professionals across health, education, and the police, to ensure the best possible support for children at risk or in need.
 
🌟 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Undertaking Child & Family Assessments to identify risks and strengths
• Leading interventions under CIN, Child Protection, Pre-proceedings, and Court processes
• Building strong, trust-based relationships with children and families
• Developing and reviewing robust care and safety plans
• Working closely with Early Help and community services to support long-term stability
• Managing a varied caseload and using your professional judgement to safeguard children

 
✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
• Minimum 3 years' experience in statutory children's services
• Strong experience in Duty & Assessment, Child Protection, and Court work
• Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance, including Working Together to Safeguard Children
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight timescales
• A compassionate, creative, and resilient approach to working with families
