💷 Pay Rate: £30 per hour
🕒 Full-time | Agency Contract
We’re on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join a Community Mental Health Team in the North West. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, multi-disciplinary team where your skills, knowledge, and compassion will have a direct impact on adults living with mental health needs. You’ll work flexibly between the office, hospitals, and service users’ homes – providing assessments, support plans, and advocacy, while also preparing reports and attending Mental Health Tribunals.
🔍 What you’ll be doing:
- Working with adults in the community with complex mental health needs
- Carrying out statutory assessments under the Care Act & Mental Capacity Act
- Writing and submitting formal reports, including for Mental Health Tribunals
- Managing and prioritising your own caseload
- Collaborating with professionals across health, housing, and social care
- Using WCCIS (preferred) to record and manage casework efficiently
✅ What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Social Worker (degree or equivalent)
- Registered with Social Work England
- 3+ years’ experience in Adult Social Care (mental health experience essential)
- Knowledge of relevant legislation: Care Act, MCA, Mental Health Act
- Skilled in risk assessments, safeguarding, and multi-agency working
- Ideally based locally or happy to travel within the region
