Children Looked After Social Worker – Solihull

Pertemps is recruiting an experienced Children Looked After Social Worker to join Solihull’s dedicated CLA service.

This role focuses on building stability, promoting positive outcomes and ensuring children in care receive consistent, high‑quality support.

You will:

• Manage a CLA caseload — ensuring each child’s needs, wishes and progress are clearly understood
• Complete high‑quality statutory visits and reviews — contributing to care planning and long‑term stability
• Work directly with children and young people — building trusting relationships and supporting their emotional, educational and social development
• Collaborate with carers, schools and health partners — ensuring coordinated, child‑centred support
• Prepare clear, evidence‑based reports — for reviews, permanence planning and court where required

You need:

• Experience working with Children Looked After
• Social Work England registration
• Strong relationship‑building and care‑planning skills
• Eligibility to work in the UK
