This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a practice leadership role, supporting high standards across children’s services and shaping frontline social work delivery.


About the Role

• Provide expert practice support and guidance to social workers across Children’s Services
• Drive high-quality, evidence-informed practice and support continuous improvement
• Mentor, coach, and develop practitioners to enhance performance and outcomes
• Contribute to training, workforce development, and reflective practice sessions
• Support quality assurance activity, ensuring standards in safeguarding and care planning are consistently met
• Work collaboratively across teams to embed best practice and innovation

About You

✔ Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
✔ Strong background in children’s safeguarding and statutory social work
✔ Experience in practice development, mentoring, or leadership roles
✔ Confident in coaching and supporting others to improve practice
✔ Passionate about raising standards and achieving the best outcomes for children
