My client is an international multi disciplinary engineering consultancy in the UK and they are currently looking for an Associate Director - Building Services to join their London Studio.

This role offers the right candidate the potential to be involved in large and prestigious projects internationally.

The project sectors we are currently involved in include commercial, mixed use, residential, healthcare, education, retail and leisure.

The role will be involved with multiple projects, will include a varied workload whilst offering the autonomy to work individually, but will also assist in planning and managing appropriate resources to deliver projects.

With offices in the middle East, India, the USA and now in UK.

The Position

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client focused Building Services expert and lead to join their growing team in London. As part of the Senior Team and under the Global Building services Director, the Associate Director will take responsibility for the operational delivery of projects, the management of project teams, the management of client relationships and the line management of teams as well as to play a leading role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative design solutions for some of the exciting building projects globally.

Working across a variety of sectors such as commercial, mixed use, residential, healthcare, education, retail and leisure, you will manage and control financial aspects of projects and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects.

You will be an expert in design and Engineering within your discipline and across Building Services and be part of a global skills community for sharing knowledge, projects and your specific expertise.

You will develop new and nurture existing outstanding client relationships and ensure repeat business as well as use your wealth of expertise and determination to manage, motivate and lead our group of multi-disciplinary engineers.

The Skills

A Chartered Engineer, educated to degree level in Building Services Engineering, you have gained vast experience within a building services context. Ideally having more than 10 - 15 years of industrial experience.

Must have UK Business Development experience with proven expertise in winning New Business

In your most recent position, you would have consistently demonstrated your ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and teams to deliver to, and exceed client expectations, and crucially you have a passion for creative and intuitive design.

Given the collaborative and client focused nature of this role, excellent communication and project management skills are essential.

Regional or international experience would be an added advantage.
