Role Purpose

To provide technical support to the Pre-construction and Operations teams to produce technical tender detail and be responsible for the development, review, control and management of day-to-day Engineering Services. The role will include responsibility of design activities, ensuring close liaison with all stakeholders during the pre-construction, bid management/ tenders, construction & commissioning phases of a project.

Requirements

Experience of working for an MEP Engineering company both preconstruction and delivery is desirable.
Experience writing technical answers for MEP bids
Have a knowledge and good understanding of Designer Appointments using BSRIA BG6
Recognised Building Industry Accreditation & have a good knowledge of Industry Legislation
IT skills to an advanced level, including BIM experience and associated design packages
Strong MEP technical design solutions & engineering background, with experience of customer management
Well-developed design management, bid, commercial and project management skills
Good understanding and knowledge of design / quality systems and environmental procedures.
Keen sense of opportunity and the ability to accurately assess ‘Added-Value’ for the customer over Risk.
Professional, flexible approach to work, clients and colleagues
Well-developed technical solution led communication and presentation skills
Ability to work well under pressure / multi-task / effective at managing own time & establishing priorities
