Property Information Officer
Location: Hybrid Working – West London
Rate: £375 per day Umbrella
Contract: 3 Months Ongoing
Hours: Full Time
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Property Information Officer to join a busy Property and Estates team within a Local Authority on a hybrid working basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong experience managing property records, asset information systems, and property data within either a local authority or private sector environment.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Property Information Officer to join a busy Property and Estates team within a Local Authority on a hybrid working basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong experience managing property records, asset information systems, and property data within either a local authority or private sector environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Council’s Property Information Officer
- Maintain and develop property data and asset register systems
- Ensure accurate capture, storage, and management of property information and records
- Process and respond to internal and external property information requests
- Monitor compliance with data retention schedules and legal requirements
- Liaise with ICT teams to ensure property systems remain fit for purpose
- Produce reports from property information and finance systems
- Provide guidance and training to colleagues on property data processes and systems
- Support continuous improvement of property information procedures and service delivery
- Previous experience working with property records within a local authority or property environment
- Strong knowledge of title deeds, land registry records, leases, licences, and legal property documentation
- Experience using property databases and GIS systems
- Excellent IT, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines
- Good understanding of data management, retention, and compliance requirements
- Experience working within a Property & Estates team in local government
- Advanced qualifications such as A Levels or equivalent
