Move On Team Leader

Location: East London
Rate: £37.17 per hour (Umbrella)
Working Arrangement: Office-based during probation, hybrid working available after probation

We are recruiting for an experienced Move On Team Leader to lead a new dedicated team focused on helping homeless households move from temporary accommodation into secure and sustainable homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of housing professionals
• Drive performance, targets and successful move-on outcomes
• Monitor caseloads and ensure cases are progressed efficiently
• Support officers with complex homelessness and housing cases
• Identify and resolve barriers preventing households from moving
• Maximise opportunities within the private rented sector and other housing options
• Work closely with internal teams, landlords, agents and external partners
• Monitor performance data and report on outcomes

Candidate Requirements

• Strong experience within homelessness, housing options, temporary accommodation or move-on services
• Previous team leadership or management experience
• Good knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation
• Experience managing performance, targets and KPIs
• Strong understanding of the private rented sector and housing options
• Strong leadership, negotiation and decision-making skills
