Salary: Up to £52,000 (Depending on Experience)

 

A well-established consultancy with 25 technical professionals centrally located in Nottingham is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their team. This opportunity offers the chance to work within a civils team of 6 engineers and technicians, contributing to the delivery of exceptional services to a diverse clientele.

 

The role of the Senior Civil Design Engineer encompasses the production of road and drainage designs, building drainage designs, external works, and Section Agreements (278, S38, S104, S106). Projects will span across various sectors including commercial, residential, industrial, education, and healthcare.

 

In addition to designing, the Senior Civil Design Engineer will provide mentorship and training to junior staff members, fostering their professional development.

Requirements for Senior Civil Design Engineer:

• Proficiency in Micro Drainage or equivalent design software.
• Knowledge of adoptable and private drainage systems design.
• Experience in producing drainage designs throughout all project stages, from feasibility to construction.
• Ability to develop drainage strategy and flood risk reports for planning applications.
• Expertise in Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) design.
• Familiarity with drainage and highways design for residential and commercial developments.
• Experience with S278, S38, S106, and S104 design.
• Working knowledge of Site 3D is advantageous but not mandatory.
