What does a Building Control Surveyor do?

Building control surveyors make sure that building regulations are followed when houses, offices and other buildings are designed and constructed and when altered, extended or converted.

Tasks required include:

  • Surveys, measures and describes land surfaces to establish property boundaries and to aid with construction or cartographic work.
