What does a Computer Services Operations Director do?
Operations managers coordinate information technology services and infrastructure ensuring that the organisation has the required infrastructural resources. They oversee the day-to-day tasks involving infrastructure components, information technology systems and software.
Tasks required include:
- Considers the required IT staffing levels, oversees recruitment and appointment of staff and directs training policy.

- Prioritises and schedules major IT projects.
- Works with client or senior management to establish and clarify the aims, objectives and requirements of an IT programme.
