Security consultants and managers provide security services to clients and individuals that help them prevent, plan and mitigate threats such as terrorism, espionage, theft and violence to their organisation; this includes the buildings, operations and employees. Tasks required include:

- Broadcasts information on weather and maritime conditions, monitors shipping and provides instruction to navigators.
