Occupational health managers and officers ensure compliance with responsibilities imposed by health and safety legislation, whilst maximising and promoting the health of all employees, as well as reducing the risk of cases of occupational ill health developing.
Tasks required include:
- Compiles statistics on accidents and injuries, analyses their causes and makes recommendations to management accordingly.

- Maintains contact with those off work due to illness.
