A welcoming and well-resourced SEN school in Southwark is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teacher to join their supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and nurturing teacher who is committed to helping children with additional needs thrive in a safe and engaging learning environment.

The Role
  • Full-time Early Years Teacher position
    • Teaching pupils within EYFS with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, speech and language difficulties, and developmental delay
    • Delivering creative, sensory, and play-based learning opportunities
    • Working closely with therapists, support staff, and parents
    • Creating individualised learning plans tailored to pupil needs
    • Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
    • Experience working within EYFS
    • Previous SEN experience desirable but not essential
    • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
    • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach
    • Passion for supporting children with additional needs
