The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN
- Support children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH
- Help create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment
- Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Use effective behaviour management and communication strategies
- Build strong relationships that promote pupil confidence and progress
- Has previous SEN experience within a primary school setting
- Is confident supporting children with autism and complex needs
- Has strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Is patient, resilient, and adaptable
- Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting children
- Can work effectively as part of a team
