Primary Teacher – KS2/3 SEMH – Birmingham
The Education Network is looking for a Primary-trained Teacher to join a specialist SEND setting in Birmingham, teaching a small KS2/3 class of pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This role would suit a Primary Teacher who enjoys working in a smaller, more personalised setting and is confident adapting their teaching to meet a range of additional needs. Previous experience working with SEMH pupils is essential, as the successful teacher will need to combine strong teaching with excellent classroom and behaviour management.
You will take responsibility for planning and delivering lessons across the curriculum, creating a structured and engaging learning environment where pupils can develop academically, socially and emotionally. This role requires previous experience working with children with SEMH needs, and a trauma informed approach.
