They transfer medical information from a patient’s paper records to an electronic template. They are responsible for the provision of a booking & scheduling service for patients.
Tasks required include:

What are the entry requirements for a Patient Care Adviser?
There are no minimum academic requirements, although entrants typically possess GCSEs/S grades or equivalent qualifications. Training is normally provided on-the-job. Apprenticeships and NVQs/SVQs in Administration at Levels 1 and 2 are available.
