What does a Production Designer (Film, Television Production) do?
Set designers develop a set concept for a performance and supervise the execution of it. They design and create the settings for commercials, television, theatre and films.
Tasks required include:
- Liaises with client to determine the purpose, cost, technical specification and potential uses/users of product.
- Prepares sketches, designs, patterns, prototypes, mock-ups and storyboards for consideration by theatre/film director, management, sales department or a client.

- Observes and manages intellectual property issues.

- Define, design and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy.
What are the entry requirements for a Production Designer (Film, Television Production)?
