What does a Systems Support Manager do?

Technical support managers monitor the delivery of technical support services to clients according to the predefined deadlines. They plan and organise the user support actions and troubleshoot IT problems and issues.

Tasks required include:

  • Plans, coordinates and manages the organisation’s IT provision or a specialist area of IT activity.
  • Liaises with users, senior staff and internal/external clients to clarify IT requirements and development needs.
