Nationwide HR webinar series kicks off with high-impact employment law update

Almost 350 HR professionals tuned in to the first session of the Pertemps HR webinar, reflecting strong demand for expert-led guidance on key workplace issues.

Pertemps has launched a new nationwide webinar series aimed at equipping HR professionals and business leaders with the latest legal and workplace insights – starting with a well-received session on employment law.

Delivered in partnership with Morag Hutchison, Employment Law Partner at leading UK law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn, the event drew a strong virtual audience of 342 attendees.

The masterclass offered practical, up-to-date guidance on legal developments affecting the workplace and was praised for its clarity, relevance and direct application to everyday HR challenges.

The session was developed by Barry Lee, Director of Permanent Recruitment Solutions, Scotland, and forms part of Pertemps’ wider strategy to support clients with added-value services that extend beyond recruitment.

Barry said: “This session really resonated with our audience.

“It’s clear that there’s a strong appetite among HR professionals for concise, actionable insights – particularly around compliance and legal responsibilities.”

Feedback from attendees highlighted the usefulness of the content, particularly in helping them feel more confident navigating complex issues in their organisations.

The event also created opportunities for Pertemps consultants across the UK to engage with clients in deeper conversations around workforce planning, legal risk and people strategy.

The webinar is part of a broader programme of client engagement initiatives from Pertemps, designed to help businesses stay informed, compliant and ahead of the curve in a fast-changing world of work.

The series continues on 17th June with a focus on Managing Neurodiverse Employees in the Workplace – click here to sign up.
