Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver on behalf of our client based in North Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver seeking steady, ongoing work with excellent PAYE rates and consistent day shifts.


The Role:

As a Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to a mix of construction sites and residential addresses across the region. The role involves operating a HIAB crane, with regular use of a brick grab attachment.


Key Responsibilities:

• Completing an average of 8–14 drops per day

• Delivering to both site and residential locations

• Operating the HIAB crane safely and efficiently

• Loading and unloading using HIAB (brick grab experience desirable)

• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects

• Providing a professional and customer-focused service

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Minimum of 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience

• At least 6 months’ HIAB experience (essential)

• Valid HIAB certification (ALLMI or equivalent)

• Brick grab experience desirable

• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
