Commercial Insurance Account Handler- Maternity cover 12 month FTC
Based on the outskirts of Bromsgrove must be able to drive but will be Hybrid after training.


Are you an experienced insurance professional with a passion for delivering exceptional client service? We’re looking for a Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join our thriving team in Bromsgrove.
Our client are a well-established, insurance company with a strong reputation for providing tailored insurance solutions to businesses across a range of sectors. Their commitment to professionalism, client care, and industry knowledge has made us a trusted partner to our clients.
As a Commercial Account Handler, you will play a key role in providing a comprehensive commercial insurance service to new and existing clients. You will also handle personal insurance requirements of connected commercial clients.
Commercial Insurance Account Handler key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting Account Executives in managing a portfolio of existing commercial clients
  • Preparing and processing renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business quotations
  • Liaising with insurers to negotiate competitive terms
  • Providing high-quality, compliant customer service at all times
  • Supporting Account Executives and maintaining accurate client records
  • Deal with Lead to obtain quotations
  • Negotiate with underwriters in placing, amending  or renewing insurance policies.
The Successful Commercial Insurance Account Handler will have the following skills and experience.
  • Proven experience in a commercial insurance handling role
  • Good knowledge of a range of commercial insurance products (e.g. property, liability, fleet, professional indemnity) But Motor Trade would be most advantageous
  • Acturis Experience essential.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills ideally sales experience
  • Attention to detail and a proactive, client-first attitude
 
Out client offers Hybrid working but their offices are modern so you wont feel bad about your in the office days ! This is a maternity contract until August 2026 but they are an ever growing company so there could be opportunities on offer after the contract has ended.
