The Role
You will play a key role in supporting ground investigations and contributing to engineering solutions on live projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out site investigations, including borehole logging and ground assessment
- Supporting projects involving subsidence, foundation issues, and structural movement
- Producing clear, practical geotechnical and geological reports
- Interpreting ground conditions to support engineering-led solutions
- Working closely with structural and civil engineers on remedial and foundation projects
- Assisting with the delivery of ground improvement and stabilisation solutions
- Travelling to sites across the UK as part of project delivery
- Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, or related discipline
- Experience in site investigations and borehole logging
- Good understanding of ground behaviour and geotechnical principles
- Ability to produce clear, practical technical reports
- Comfortable working in a site-based, hands-on environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
