Admin Support Assistant
Location: Bangor
Pay Rate: £13.96 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Assignment: Temporary until 31 March 2027
Start Date: ASAP
We are recruiting for an Admin Support Assistant to join a well established public sector organisation based in Bangor.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys supporting busy operational teams.
You'll play an important role in providing day to day administrative support to waste management and data collection teams, helping to ensure operations run smoothly while maintaining accurate records and supporting colleagues both in the office and out on site.

What you'll be doing
- Providing day to day administrative support to busy operational teams.
- Data entry and maintaining accurate records using Excel and internal systems.
- Copying, scanning, filing and preparing documents.
- Ordering PPE, equipment and other supplies for operational teams.
- Supporting the coordination of day to day office activities.
- Taking fleet vehicles for servicing, cleaning and maintenance appointments when required.
- Providing occasional on site support to data collection teams.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
- Maintaining organised records and following established procedures.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in an administration or business support role.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage a varied workload.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence is essential, as you'll be required to drive fleet vehicles as part of the role.
