Stores Operative
Location: Wrexham
Pay Rate: Up to £13.00 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business where you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the stores department. Working closely with the Materials Team, you'll be responsible for receiving, storing and dispatching goods while maintaining accurate stock records using an ERP system.
Full training will be provided, with ongoing development opportunities available for the successful candidate.

- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 2:00pm

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Stores Operative, your duties will include:
- Receiving and inspecting incoming deliveries, checking for damage and verifying quantities against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Updating stock records using the company's ERP system.
- Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch.
- Labelling products and arranging collections with transport providers.
- Coordinating deliveries and collections to ensure goods are moved efficiently.
- Carrying out regular stock checks and assisting with inventory control.
- Kitting production orders in line with the manufacturing schedule.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe stores environment.
- Processing stock movements, returns and general warehouse documentation.
- Providing general administrative support, including data entry and filing.
- Previous experience within a warehouse, stores or materials handling environment.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience using inventory or ERP systems (desirable).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- A good understanding of warehouse health and safety practices.
- The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- A positive, flexible attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Up to £13.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday working hours with an early finish every Friday
