Court of Protection Solicitor | 3+ PQE | Hybrid Working | Bristol | Competitive Salary DOE

This is a rare opportunity to join the Court of Protection team at an exciting period of growth, offering flexibility, autonomy and the chance to play a key role in developing and expanding the service offering.

The Role
You will manage your own Court of Protection caseload, advising vulnerable clients and their families with sensitivity and technical expertise. The role is well suited to a solicitor who enjoys client-facing work, relationship-building and business development, and who is motivated by contributing to the growth of a developing practice.

Key Work
• Deputyship applications (property & affairs and welfare)
• Ongoing deputyship management
• Applications to the Court of Protection
• Advising attorneys and deputies
• Mental Capacity Act advice
• Statutory wills and gifts
• Liaising with families, care providers, local authorities and other professionals

Business Development & Networking
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referrers and professional contacts
• Attend networking events and business development activities
• Contribute to raising the profile of the Court of Protection offering
• Support the development of processes, best practice and future growth opportunities

The Ideal Candidate
• Qualified Solicitor with Court of Protection experience
• Confident managing a caseload independently
• Compassionate, client-focused and detail-oriented
• Commercially aware and proactive
• Comfortable working remotely while remaining visible, engaged and collaborative
• Enthusiastic about business development and networking
