We are recruiting for an Installation Technician for a leading IT service provider based in Cardiff to deliver desktop hardware installation services in a dynamic environment.

Role Overview:As an Installation Technician, you’ll be responsible for setting up and installing hardware for our clients, including desktops and associated peripherals. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a range of equipment, ensuring smooth connectivity and functionality.
This role involves:- Unboxing and installing desktop kits at client desks.
- Connecting peripherals (e.g., monitors, keyboards, mice, printers).
- Managing power and network cables and ensuring proper connections.
- Performing power-on self-tests to ensure devices are working correctly.
- Starting automated builds and executing basic, scripted post-login configurations.
What We Need:- Technical Skills: You don’t need to be a full-on IT expert, but you should have basic technical knowledge and an interest in working with hardware.
