Drive Your Career ForwardWe are currently recruiting Drivers/Vehicle Shunters on behalf of a leading automotive manufacturing company based in Dagenham. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and safety-conscious drivers to join a well-established operation within the automotive industry.

The role involves moving vehicles safely around the manufacturing site, ensuring production and logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Working HoursInitial Training Period (First 3 Weeks):

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
  
  
• Friday: 7:00am – 2:00pm
  
  

Following Training: Rotational Shift Pattern

• Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
  
  
• Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm – Midnight
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Safely move vehicles around the manufacturing facility and compounds.
  
  
• Carry out vehicle shunting duties in accordance with site procedures.
  
  
• Ensure vehicles are parked and positioned accurately.
  
  
• Conduct basic visual inspections and report any damage or defects.
  
  
• Follow all health and safety regulations and site rules.
  
  
• Work as part of a team to maintain efficient site operations.
  
  
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and vehicle care.
  
  

Essential RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold a full UK manual driving licence.
  
  
• Have held your driving licence for a minimum of 1 year.
  
  
• Have 0 penalty points on your licence.
  
  
• Be confident driving manual vehicles.
  
  
• Be reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
  
  
• Be able to work the required shift pattern.
  
  
• Have excellent attention to detail.
